Melco Resorts & Entertainment, a leading global operator of integrated resorts, officially announced that REM, its brand-new luxury hotel at City of Dreams Macau, will mark its grand opening this October. Following its debut in August, when the hotel welcomed its first invited guests through an invitation-only program, REM has garnered widespread attention for its bold and fearless design philosophy and boundary-pushing approach to hospitality. This October, the hotel unveils its full grandeur to global travelers, delivering a stay experience inspired by "Shake You Awake" through pioneering spatial design, highly personalized service and an exceptional level of privacy.

REM takes its name from Rapid Eye Movement — the sleep stage in which the brain is most active, when dreams feel startlingly real and vivid. Inspired by this concept, REM creates an immersive sanctuary at City of Dreams that moves between reality and imagination, designed for trend-conscious connoisseurs in pursuit of high-energy, high-style experiences, well-traveled and well-connected tastemakers, and discerning guests who value privacy and personalized service. Through the interplay of reflected light and materials, together with a carefully choreographed spatial layout, the hotel orchestrates an unfolding journey from the exterior to the interior, from the visible to the concealed, perfectly embodying its bold, avant-garde spatial aesthetic.

REM features 149 rooms, predominantly suite-led, across seven distinctive room types, including Premier Room, Twilight Suite, Luminous Suite, Euphoria Suite, Hypnotic Suite, The Haven and The Lair — REM's ultimate expression. In every detail, each room type reveals its own distinctive character, with a rich emotive palette of red intertwining with cool, shimmering metallic tones. Dynamic layers of light and shadow continually awaken the senses, inspiring guests to rediscover their inner edge and pursue bold, avant-garde encounters with inspiration.

Beyond the avant-garde and intimate rooms, the hotel has thoughtfully curated an array of leisure and wellness facilities. On the third floor, the outdoor pool glimmers in interplay with the hotel architectural lines, transforming the space into an oasis floating above the city.
