Enter the world of Yí
High on the 21st-floor skybridge of Morpheus at City of Dreams Macau, Yí refines Chinese cuisine with innovative modern flair. Inspired by the 24 solar terms of the Chinese calendar, the Black Pearl one-diamond restaurant distills Chinese gastronomy to its essence in a creative take on seasonal dining through its signature dishes. Every month, Yí's expert chefs create a menu guided by the rhythm of the seasons and prepared from the finest seasonal ingredients, blending traditional flavors with contemporary techniques, served in artisanal wood-fired ceramics that elevate the beauty of Eastern cuisine.
Designed by the legendary late Dame Zaha Hadid DBE, Yí’s interiors rest under a golden semi-domed ceiling, enveloping diners in the auspicious ambiance of the "dragon guarding the feast.” Water elements woven throughout the space reflect shimmering light on rich, tactile wood and stone, embodying the philosophy of the Five Elements. Tableware adorned with zodiac motifs convey blessings and good fortune, while a meticulously curated collection of rare wines and spirits invite connoisseurs to a truly refined dining experience.
Ascend to the 23rd floor, where artistry and elegance converge beneath a monumental KAWS piece. Here, culinary mastery, architectural brilliance, and artistic splendor come together in a multidimensional feast for the senses.

An Innovative Chinese Feast: Summer Bloom
As summer rains recede, and wild mushrooms sprout in mountain woodlands, the highly anticipated annual peak season for Yunnan’s mountain delicacies has returned. Yí, the Black Pearl one-diamond innovative Chinese restaurant at City of Dreams Macau, will join hands for the first time with Hong0871—also a Black Pearl one-diamond restaurant to present "An Innovative Chinese Feast: Summer Bloom".
For this collaboration, the chefs have handpicked fresh seasonal wild mushrooms, including Catathelasma, Green Russula, Chanterelle, Matsutake, Termite, Ganba, Porcini and Black Tiger Paw. Rooted in Cantonese culinary techniques and enriched with contemporary Chinese creativity, the six-course menu transforms the untamed freshness of the mountains into refined culinary expressions—capturing both the lingering warmth of summer and the aromatic vitality of the forest. Among the highlights, Hong0871 presents "Termite Mushroom I Sea Conch I Summer Squash", where the purity of mountain ingredients meets the precision of Cantonese soup craftsmanship. Yi’s main course — "Black Tiger Paw Mushroom I Rainbow Abalone I Artichoke" — demonstrates an inventive interplay between Cantonese seafood artistry and seasonal mushrooms. A collaborative dish "Ganba Mushroom I Huize Sturgeon Tendon | Fish Maw | Conpoy | Rice Bun" further embodies the creative convergence of Yunnan and Cantonese flavours. Structured around seasonality, the menu unfolds as a harmonious dialogue between highland terroir and Cantonese culinary foundations—bringing the essence of a rain-washed forest evening to the skybridge table on Level 21 of Morpheus.
